Proud of the tradition of the Party's Propaganda sector

94 years ago, on August 1, 1930, the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the Communist Party of Vietnam published the document “International Red Day August 1” to commemorate the international day of fighting against imperialist war, protecting peace, protecting the Soviet Union, supporting the national liberation movement, calling on soldiers to unite with the people, and respond to the struggle against imperialist war.

Based on these documents and events, in 2000, the Politburo of the Party Central Committee (VIII tenure) decided to take August 1st of each year as the Traditional Day of the Party's Ideological and Cultural Work. In 2007, after the Central Ideological and Cultural Commission and the Central Science and Education Commission merged into the Central Propaganda Commission, the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee (X tenure) decided to take August 1st of each year as the Traditional Day of the Party's Propaganda Work.

Over 94 years of construction and development, propaganda work has always held a leading position in the Party's leadership. In particular, in the cause of national renewal, the Party's propaganda work has continued to promote its role on the ideological and theoretical front; closely following reality to provide scientific arguments, contributing to the formation of a system of new arguments in the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's policies and laws; promptly refuting the distorted arguments of hostile forces.

Along with the development of the homeland and the country, Ninh Thuan propaganda work has joined in the strong propaganda work of the whole country. The propaganda staff constantly trains and improves their political theory level to match the task; bravery, intelligence, solidarity, initiative, innovation, creativity, effectively performing the role of advising, directing and fighting on the political and ideological front of the Party Committee; affirming the role of pioneering, guiding and providing information to cadres, party members and people in the province, creating high consensus in society.

Celebrating the Party's Traditional Propaganda Day is an opportunity for us to review and promote the glorious historical tradition of the Party's Propaganda sector; to be proud of the great and historically significant contributions of the Propaganda sector to the revolutionary cause of the Party and our nation.
