The unique aspect of the exhibition is that the entire concept, organization, and photographic works were directly created by first-year students of class NATT-4 (24CĐTT2) – young people who are approaching the subject of Media Photography for the first time.
This is a new course introduced into the Multimedia Communication program of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, starting from the 2024-2025 academic year.

The exhibition celebrates glorious historical moments through photographic works created by students, serving not only as an academic platform but also as an opportunity for exchange, professional learning, fostering a love for the profession, and national pride.
Each photograph displayed at the exhibition tells a story connecting the past and present, expressed through the fresh, emotional perspective of the younger generation on the city named after President Ho Chi Minh.

At the opening ceremony, the exhibition was honored to welcome Ms. Vu Minh Nghia – a female Saigon Commando soldier and a historical witness to the Tet Offensive of 1968 and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign of 1975. Her sincere and moving sharing helped to ignite patriotism, cultivate ideals, and awaken historical responsibility in each student.

Directly accompanying the students throughout the photography and exhibition process, Mr. Pham Duc Minh (lecturer in charge of the Media Photography course, College of Radio and Television II) shared: “Although they are only just getting acquainted with the subject, the students are very creative, knowing how to turn each lesson into a practical experience, each idea into a genuine and emotional work of art.”
