For her, every year on National Day September 2, she clearly remembers the day she joined the Party.
"At that time, I was still very young, at a very energetic age, I volunteered for any difficult task of the Southern Opera Troupe. And the image of the national flag was deeply imprinted in my heart, at the same time, the love for the Fatherland became more and more sacred and brilliant. For those working in the cultural and artistic fields, the love for the Fatherland is the red thread running through the golden pages of the Fatherland's history, turning into the strength to rise up to create good roles, theatrical works affirming the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, and not to submit to any invaders" - Meritorious Artist Le Thien said.

She recalled the time when she founded the Youth Shock Opera Troupe, she taught and passed on to young actors a series of Vietnamese historical roles, praising national heroes such as Hai Ba Trung, Ba Trieu, Ngo Quyen, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Le Loi, Quang Trung... and those roles until today are still imbued with the spirit of patriotism, love of peace, love of freedom.
She believes that the young generation of Cai Luong theater writers should take pride in the famous works of Tran Huu Trang Theater such as: "Chim Viet Canh Nam", "Hon Dao Than Ve Nu", "Tinh Yeu Va Loi Do", "Rang Ngoc Con Son", "Nang Xe Da", "Thai Hau Duong Van Nga"... as a guideline to compose Vietnamese historical plays.
Or, based on famous literary works that have created a beautiful image of the position of a free and independent country, compose stage scripts such as: "Thang Long Ky" (Nguyen Khac Phuc), "Hoi The" (Nguyen Quang Than), "Tam Trieu Vua Ly" (Hoang Quoc Hai)... In recent years, there have been "Phung Vuong", "Ngo Vuong" (Phung Van Khai), "Tran Quoc Toan", "Tran Khanh Du" (Luu Son Minh)...
In terms of historical literature, Nguyen Xuan Khanh's works ("Ho Quy Ly", "Doi gao len chua" ...) not only excellently recreate history but also revive traditional cultural life that today's young generation must preserve. The novels: "Thong reo Ngan Hong", "Nguyen Du" (Nguyen The Quang) restore portraits (Nguyen Cong Tru, Nguyen Du) are traditional cultural models for today's generation to learn and study.

She highly appreciated Hoang Thai Thanh Stage for choosing literary works by writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu to brighten up the Ho Chi Minh City stage, introducing the culture and beauty of the Southern river region. According to her, many works by Nguyen Ngoc Tu such as: "Passing the bridge, remembering people", "Cai oi", "Dong nho" or by Nguyen Huong such as: "Tinh than thuong vo", "Me con dau chop"... can still be used to compose stage scripts and find their own unique features for today's stage.
She analyzed: "Great inspiration about the Fatherland does not need to be grand with long epics or lofty ideas, just choose a humanistic perspective, and will be highly appreciated by public opinion thanks to the new perspective about the indomitable country, not afraid of any enemy. With the spirit of a warrior, literature in creating stage scripts not only recreates today's life but also highlights the solidarity, humanity, altruism, and faith of the Vietnamese people in the process of building the country" - she expressed.
Meritorious Artist Le Thien emphasized that she is proud of the image of a prosperous and happy Fatherland through the theatrical works of Ho Chi Minh City in recent times, but hopes that the authors will make this approach more vivid to create something different, in line with the general direction of literature and art of countries in the region in the period of integration and globalization.
