In addition to the basic salary, the company offers incentives for workers such as a diligence bonus of 400,000 VND/month, a gasoline allowance of 500,000 VND/month, a housing allowance of 440 - 540,000 VND/month, a shift bonus of 1.2 million VND, a night shift allowance of 350 - 500,000 VND/month, a child allowance of 50,000 VND/child, seniority of 200,000 VND, and an increase of 100,000 VND each year from the second year. The company also offers incentives to encourage workers such as a production bonus of up to 3.5 million VND, a 13th-month salary of 1 tael of gold for those who have worked at the company for 5 years or more, and a referral fee for new workers for officers and employees working at Jasan of 600,000 VND.

Also a business operating in the garment industry, Kyung Vina Co., LTD located in Hoa Binh village, Dong Ninh commune (Dong Son) is posting a job posting for sewing workers,... Officials and workers working here who introduce skilled positions will receive a bonus of up to 2 million VND.

Leading Star Thanh Hoa Garment Company Limited in Bim Son Industrial Park also has a need to recruit hundreds of sewing workers and sewing trainees. In addition to the income of 9 to 12 million VND/month and welfare regimes, the company also gives a bonus of 300 to 500 thousand VND to the referrer and workers who bring their own documents to submit.

Although the bonus to attract new workers is not much, it can be considered a “bribe fee” to some extent. This story is often seen in the field of sports and recruiting highly qualified personnel. But now it is happening to ordinary workers, showing that businesses need workers and the role of workers is more highly valued. The labor relationship between businesses and workers now feels like it is in the “honeymoon period”. Raising the issue like this is to remind both sides to appreciate each other’s opportunities and work hard together. Businesses respect workers, and workers are attached and loyal to the business.

The story of businesses using workers in a “squeezing the lemon and throwing away the peel” manner has happened, causing outrage among many people. The situation of workers “jumping jobs” when they see greater benefits is also quite common. That is when both sides put their own interests above the common interests. The consequences of that not only make the labor relationship unsafe, but also create negative effects for the economy.
