From April 26 - May 1: Free visit to Hue Imperial City at night

On the occasion of the April 30 – May 1 holiday, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will open free night tours of the Imperial Citadel and firecrackers at the Hue Flag Tower.

Accordingly, visitors will enter Hien Nhon gate to visit Thieu Phuong garden and the Interior Palace from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day, continuously for 6 nights from April 26 to May 1. This is an opportunity for people and visitors to explore the royal space shimmering in the lights, enjoy the beauty of architecture and nature in the magical evening.

During the Nguyen Dynasty, Thieu Phuong Garden was considered one of the most typical Royal Gardens in the Royal Palace, and was ranked by King Thieu Tri as the second most beautiful landscape of the Imperial City.

On this occasion, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center also organized an exhibition of colorful and diverse ornamental plants, orchids, and rocks from three regions; demonstration and experience of Hue handicraft products; traditional culinary area...

In addition, from April 26, at Hue's Flag Tower, there will be an extremely attractive performance of cannon fire effects every Saturday night at 7:15 p.m.

In addition, coming to the ancient capital of Hue during this holiday, visitors also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition "Journey of Vietnamese Ceramics" (opening on April 26), one of the highlights of the Summer Festival, within the framework of Hue Festival 2025, at Kien Trung Palace. The exhibition introduces to the public nearly 200 unique ceramic artifacts spanning the course of history, selected from the precious collections of 49 antique collectors, People's Artisan Tran Do, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, Nam Hong Royal Museum, and Huong River Ancient Ceramics Museum. These artifacts are not only precious heritages but also vivid evidence of the talent and creativity of the Vietnamese people through the ages. The exhibition focuses on the main periods including: prehistoric period; period after the Common Era - 10th century; under the Ly - Tran dynasty (11th - 14th century); under the Le So - Mac dynasty (15th - 17th century); 17th - 18th century; Nguyen Dynasty (early 19th century - mid 20th century); present period.

The exhibition is an opportunity for craft villages, museums, antique collectors, and artisans to promote the beauty of Vietnamese pottery to a wide range of tourists and the community that loves national culture.
