From 10am on July 15th, the quiz contest "Pride of the sea, islands, and borders of the homeland" will begin.

The first round of the quiz "Pride of the sea, islands, and borders of the homeland" will officially take place from 10:00 on July 15 to 18:00 on July 21, 2024.

The contest is organized by the Steering Committee for External Information Affairs of Quang Ninh province throughout the province, for all people inside and outside the province, foreigners working, living and studying in Quang Ninh, without age limit.

The contest will be held from July 2024, divided into 5 sessions, each lasting 1 week, in the form of online exams. Session 1: Starting from 10:00 a.m. on July 15, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on July 21, 2024. Session 2: Starting from 10:00 a.m. on July 22, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on July 28, 2024. Session 3: Starting from 10:00 a.m. on July 29, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on August 4, 2024. Session 4: Starting from 10:00 a.m. on August 5, 2024 to 6:00 p.m. on August 11, 2024. Period 5: Starting from 10:00 on August 12, 2024 to 18:00 on August 18, 2024.

To participate in the contest, contestants access the link on the Quang Ninh Electronic Newspaper; click on the quiz banner: "Proud of the sea, islands, and borders of the homeland". Fill in personal information (full name, gender, year of birth, address, contact phone number and email). Each question has answer options for contestants to choose from, including 1 correct option. Predict the number of people answering. Each correct answer corresponds to 1 point, the maximum total score is 9 points/9 questions.

For each contest, the Organizing Committee will award 01 First prize worth 5,000,000 VND/prize; 02 Second prizes, worth 3,000,000 VND/prize; 03 Third prizes, worth 2,000,000 VND/prize; 04 Encouragement prizes, worth 1,000,000 VND/prize.

The contest aims to raise awareness and understanding of cadres, party members, armed forces, people, especially the young generation, about the Party's policies and viewpoints, the State's and the Province's laws on sea, island and border work; the position and role of sea, island and border in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; arouse and foster patriotism, national pride, and awareness of protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Fatherland. At the same time, innovate content and form, diversify methods of information and propaganda on sea, island and border work; apply digital technology and modern communication methods to increase dissemination, targeting different audiences.
