The Ministry of Transport has just issued Circular No. 45 regulating the issuance, reissuance, temporary suspension, and revocation of road vehicle inspection certificates. The Circular takes effect from January 1, 2025.

Accordingly, in Article 13, the circular stipulates the temporary suspension of the inspector's certificate for 30 days if: The inspector falsifies the results of certification and inspection; Has acts of harassment, causing difficulties and troubles to organizations and individuals in the process of performing tasks; Does not perform assigned tasks without a valid reason; Violates regulations on labor discipline; internal rules and working regulations of the agency or unit.

In Article 14, the circular stipulates that the certificates of inspectors will be revoked when they fall into one of the following cases:

At the same time of day, simultaneously conduct inspections or confirm inspection results from 2 or more inspection facilities.

Falsifying documents to obtain a vehicle inspection certificate.

Has been temporarily suspended from the vehicle inspection position 3 times within 12 consecutive months.

Convicted by a court verdict that has come into legal effect for violating regulations related to certification and inspection activities.

Use tools and software to repair vehicle data, inspection and certification data to legalize vehicle information and vehicle inspection results.

Lost or limited civil capacity.

Not directly performing professional work related to the field of vehicle inspection for 12 consecutive months or more.
