VNA enhances the effectiveness of propaganda work to protect the Party's ideological foundation

Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee of VNA, the Steering Committee 35 of VNA and its affiliated Party Committees have actively grasped and systematically and resolutely implemented the contents of the Resolution, especially in carrying out political tasks and achieved remarkable results.

The information routes were deployed methodically, planned, and closely coordinated among VNA's information units, achieving high efficiency.

Information on protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints is carried out by VNA units in many languages and in various types of information (text, photos, television, graphics); published on 60 VNA information products, including printed newspapers/newsletters, electronic newspapers/newsletters, television channels and social networks...

At the Conference, delegates focused on exchanging, discussing, contributing ideas, drawing lessons, and proposing specific tasks and solutions to continue effectively protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, and preventing and handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace.

Ms. Vu Viet Trang, Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, Party Secretary, General Director, Head of Steering Committee 35 of VNA, said, "VNA needs to continue to play a leading role in information, both in cyberspace and on all popular media channels today; actively fight against information more strongly, thereby maintaining the ideological front, consolidating and strengthening people's trust in the Party, State and regime."

On that basis, the Head of Steering Committee 35 of VNA requested that the Party Committee of VNA and its affiliated Party organizations continue to strongly implement Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW in the new situation; raise awareness among Party committees at all levels and cadres and Party members about the necessity and urgency of protecting and maintaining the Party's ideological foundation, first and foremost among cadres and Party members.

Information work needs to combine both "building" and "fighting", in which "building" is fundamental and long-term, "fighting" is necessary and urgent; continue to create a positive information mainstream on cyberspace, on platforms, spreading to the public and readers more deeply and directly; innovate information content and form, meeting task requirements in the context of digital transformation.
