Communication on social work in Nho Quan district

Conference delegates.

During the morning, the delegates were informed about the Center for Social Protection and Work (hereinafter referred to as the Center). Accordingly, the Center is currently managing and caring for 93 people. Among them are 81 lonely elderly people with no place to rely on and people with disabilities, 12 children in especially difficult circumstances. In the past time, the Center has overcome difficulties and challenges to ensure the effectiveness of receiving, managing, caring for and nurturing the elderly and children in special circumstances, becoming a common home for vulnerable people in the province.

In addition, delegates were presented with a number of other key contents such as: Overview of the social work profession; tasks of social work; distinguishing social work from charity; answering questions about policies related to social protection subjects... The communication conference was organized to raise people's awareness of the role and position of social work. Thereby, creating positive changes in perception and action, helping them to solve problems themselves, overcome difficulties for themselves and their families. At the same time, it is possible to support subjects in need of assistance in the community, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in the locality.
