Practically responding to the "Workers' Month" in 2023, welcoming the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels, term 2023-2028, on the morning of May 20, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Provincial Center for Disease Control to organize a communication, consultation and medical examination program for female workers and employees of Venus Vietnam Shoes Company Limited (Ha Trung). Comrade Trinh Thi Hoa, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor attended.
200 female workers and laborers working at Venus Vietnam Shoes Company Limited were informed by doctors and nurses of the Provincial Center for Disease Control about reproductive health care and free gynecological examinations and ultrasounds. At the same time, they shared and instructed on how to prevent and fight diseases that women often suffer from such as cervical cancer, breast cancer; answered and consulted on knowledge in health care during pregnancy and raising young children...
This is one of the practical activities to diversify reproductive health care and protection activities, helping female workers and laborers grasp basic knowledge about reproductive health care, contributing to improving population quality, human resource quality and sustainable development of enterprises.
