Last year, after the 20th Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping invited General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to visit China, outlining a picture of the development of the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era.”

According to Ms. Mao Ninh, since the beginning of the year, the two countries' senior leaders have maintained regular exchanges. Cooperation between ministries, branches and localities of the two countries has been bustling, gradually implementing the common perception between the two countries' senior leaders.

At the same time, Ms. Mao Ninh also informed that during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to China, the two sides are expected to seek measures to implement the common perception between the senior leaders of the two Parties; focus on discussing issues such as deepening "One Belt, One Road" cooperation, enhancing connectivity, stabilizing the supply chain, etc.

The Chinese side believes that this visit will further consolidate the positive development trend in Vietnam-China relations, as well as promote the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries to become deeper and more substantial.
