Official Chinese newspapers such as Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, the portal of the People's Republic of China Government... all simultaneously published information about Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit.
These newspapers said that, at the invitation of Prime Minister Li Qiang, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will pay an official visit to China from June 25-28; and at the same time attend the 14th World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia in Tianjin, China.
The articles all briefly post biographical information about Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh such as age and positions he has held.
Some pages such as Hoan Cau posted a clip of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's plane landing at Beijing airport with the headline "Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has arrived in Beijing, starting his visit to China".
Before the visit, on June 20, at the regular press conference of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning announced the visit.
Spokesperson Mao Ning emphasized: “Vietnam is China’s socialist neighbor. Last year, after the 20th Congress, General Secretary Xi Jinping invited General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to visit China, outlining a picture of the development of the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era.”
According to Ms. Mao Ninh, since the beginning of the year, the two countries' senior leaders have maintained regular exchanges. Cooperation between ministries, branches and localities of the two countries has been bustling, gradually implementing the common perception between the two countries' senior leaders.
At the same time, Ms. Mao Ninh also informed that during Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to China, the two sides are expected to seek measures to implement the common perception between the senior leaders of the two Parties; focus on discussing issues such as deepening "One Belt, One Road" cooperation, enhancing connectivity, stabilizing the supply chain, etc.
The Chinese side believes that this visit will further consolidate the positive development trend in Vietnam-China relations, as well as promote the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries to become deeper and more substantial.
