The television program “Vietnamese Revolutionary Heroism: From the War for Independence to the Journey of Nation Building” recently produced by Venezuelan Television Globovisión has conveyed a strong message about the magnitude of the April 30 victory.

The event clearly shows that this is not only a brilliant feat in the history of the Vietnamese people's struggle for national liberation, but also a brilliant symbol of revolutionary heroism - a spiritual value forged from blood and bones, from burning patriotism and the desire for independence and freedom.

According to VNA correspondents in Latin America, in a special program broadcast live by Globovisión Television on April 23, Americas time, the guests affirmed that from the victory of April 30 to the cause of national construction and development, the epic song of that heroism has continued to resound, becoming a strong driving force to help Vietnam overcome countless challenges to become an integrated and powerful country like today.

Speaking to millions of Venezuelan and Latin American television viewers, Mr. Julio Cesar Pineda, a veteran diplomat and famous Venezuelan journalist, emphasized that 50 years have passed since the historic Spring of 1975, but the flame of Vietnamese revolutionary heroism has not faded.

From ancient battlefields to factories, fields and efforts to integrate into the world , that spirit continues to inspire, foster the will and aspiration to rise up in every generation of Vietnamese people.

Looking at the image of a tank crashing into the gate of the Independence Palace in the studio of Globovisión Television, diplomat Julio Cesar Pineda recalled the great sacrifices of the Vietnamese army and people in the long war for independence, affirming that the victory of April 30 not only brought peace to the Vietnamese people, but was also a day for the whole world to engrave a lesson about the power of justice, the will for independence and revolutionary heroism. These are the eternal values that have created the identity of a resilient and humane Vietnam in the hearts of humanity.

Thanking diplomat and journalist Julio Cesar Pineda for his special feelings on the occasion of the great anniversary of the Vietnamese people, guest Vu Trung My - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Venezuela said that after the victory of April 30, Vietnam entered the reconstruction process with numerous difficulties due to severe economic, social, infrastructure and psychological consequences.

But it is also in that challenge that revolutionary heroism continues to be demonstrated through the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, diligence and creativity of the entire nation.

The “warriors” in peacetime are the farmers who overcome drought and natural disasters to produce food, the workers in factories or on construction sites, the scientists who silently conduct research in laboratories, the business community that innovates thinking, brings Vietnamese products to the world, and also the doctors and nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic who fight for people's lives every day...

Besides, Ambassador Vu Trung My pointed out that Vietnamese revolutionary heroism is not only present on the labor production front, but also strongly imprinted in the fields of protecting sovereignty, international integration, and building an advanced culture imbued with national identity.

Referring to the road ahead, Ambassador Vu Trung My affirmed that Vietnam is facing strong development opportunities, with the goal of becoming a developed, high-income country by 2045. In this journey, the spirit of April 30 - a symbol of patriotism, resilience and solidarity - will continue to be the guiding light.

In particular, in the context of the world witnessing many major changes, strategic geopolitical-commercial competition, climate change, digital transformation, etc., Vietnam needs to strongly promote revolutionary heroism to firmly overcome, master the nation's destiny, and affirm an increasingly high position in the international arena./.
