Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Minh - Director of Vietnam National Assembly Television said: Today is an extremely important event for National Assembly Television when reaching an agreement to broadcast the 2023 Women's World Cup. This is a historic event for Vietnamese sports, we are honored to accompany the team and millions of fans.

"We will broadcast live all matches of the Vietnamese women's team and other matches on channel 7. As the copyright holder of the tournament, we will arrange a team of reporters to be present at the 2023 Women's World Cup. Hopefully we will have an exciting summer with the Vietnamese women's team," said Mr. Le Quang Minh.

It is known that this is the first time in history that the Vietnamese women's football team has won the right to participate in the 2023 Women's World Cup finals, along with 5 other Asian representatives: China, Japan, Korea, Philippines and Australia.

Good news for Vietnamese football fans as VMG Media has officially acquired the media and broadcasting rights for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Vietnam.

After owning the exclusive rights to commercial exploitation and distribution of broadcasting copyright, this media unit and Vietnam National Assembly Television (channel 7) reached an agreement to broadcast matches of the Vietnam women's team and matches at the 2023 Women's World Cup finals. In addition, VTVCab is the unit that coordinates the production of the matches.

The 2023 Women's World Cup will feature 32 teams, divided into eight groups, taking place from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. Southeast Asia only has two teams, Vietnam and the Philippines, both newcomers to the tournament.
