Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School: 30 years of solidarity - creativity - quality

On December 29, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School (Thanh Hoa City) held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary and received a certificate of merit from the Minister of Education and Training.

Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School was formerly Thanh Hoa Town Gifted Secondary School. In the first school year, the school had 686 students and 17 classes. A group of 41 teachers selected from secondary schools in Thanh Hoa Town laid the first foundations for the school.

Teacher Duong Le Hoan, Principal of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School, spoke to review the 30-year journey of building, developing and growing the school.

In the 1997-1998 school year, the Ministry of Education and Training abolished the specialized school and selective class model. Therefore, on March 14, 1998, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Decision No. 382/QDTC/UBND to change the school's name to Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School and was assigned the task of building it into a high-quality secondary education center in Thanh Hoa city.

Over the past 30 years of the career of educating people, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, the staff, teachers and students of Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School have constantly strived to complete all assigned tasks; contributing many achievements to the development of education and training of Thanh Hoa city in particular and Thanh Hoa province in general.

Currently, the school's facilities have been invested in spaciously. The team of teachers and staff consists of 76 people with solid professional capacity and dedication to the profession. The school's mission is to train and nurture high-quality students, creating a source for Lam Son High School for the Gifted and the leading specialized schools in the country, as well as high schools in Thanh Hoa City. For many years, the school has been the leading flag in education and training of the province, meeting the expectations of leaders at all levels, the trust of generations of students, parents and the whole society.

In recognition of its achievements in the career of educating people, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School was honored to be awarded the Third and Second Class Labor Medals by the President twice; along with many Certificates of Merit, Certificates of Merit, and Emulation Flags from all levels and sectors from the Central to local levels.

With the slogan of action: "Solidarity - Creativity - Quality - Reaching far", entering a new journey, Tran Mai Ninh Secondary School is determined to develop more comprehensively, worthy of being a key school of high-quality education in Thanh Hoa City; being the "leading bird" of secondary education in Thanh Hoa province.

The anniversary is an opportunity for generations of teachers and students of the school to review the process of building, growing up and showing gratitude for the contributions of previous generations. At the same time, it is a meaningful reunion between generations of students and teachers; it is a spiritual motivation for the school to continue to overcome difficulties, constantly improve the quality of teaching and enhance the tradition of the past 30 years.
