With the spirit of “Calm, confident, determined to achieve high results”, the new soldiers of the Engineering Officer School participated in the “3 explosions” test with the following contents: Shooting hidden and visible targets during the day with AK submachine guns, wrapping explosives, setting off explosives, throwing grenades far and hitting the target. The test achieved the required objectives, many soldiers achieved high results, the unit ensured absolute safety.
Specific results: 100% performed well the key points, shooting and throwing movements, 100% of soldiers strictly followed the training ground discipline. In particular, in the shooting test, more than 60% achieved excellent and fair results, with the unit achieving good results; in the explosives test, 97% achieved excellent and fair results, with the unit achieving good results; and in the grenade throwing test, 67% achieved excellent and fair results, with the unit achieving good results. Completing the 3 test contents with good results, Private Cao Van Phuol happily shared: "In the shooting and throwing segment tests, my results were not high, but with the guidance, instruction and training of commanders at all levels, I have learned the lesson that I must be calm and strictly follow the key points and movements that have been learned to achieve good results."
Talking to us, Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Van Du, Battalion Commander of Battalion 2, Engineering Officer School said: The Party Committee and Battalion Command have thoroughly grasped and directed the training company for new soldiers to implement the motto "basic, practical, solid", focusing on comprehensive training, improving techniques and tactics, combining training for health, bravery, and regular working style. After a period of training in the army, new soldiers have all improved, mastered techniques, basic movements, mastered the conditions for shooting and throwing tests, and trained their voice, bravery, and working style.
Assessing the preparation and organization of the inspection of the Engineering Officer School, Colonel Trinh Ngoc Hung, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Engineering Corps, emphasized: The Engineering Officer School has strictly followed the rules and procedures, well prepared the training ground, key movements, and psychology for new soldiers, ensuring strictness and safety. This is the first year of training new soldiers, but the school has implemented the training content, program, and motto well. This is the premise for the school to perform well its tasks in the coming time.
