University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Linh Duong campus, Hoang Mai, Hanoi was established on August 1 by the Director of Hanoi National University.

This is a medical examination and treatment facility, providing practical training for key, high-quality training programs, scientific research and technology and engineering transfer of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in particular and the health sciences sector of Hanoi National University in general.
Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Thanh, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, said that Hanoi National University is directing relevant units to actively and responsibly implement the project of equipping phase 1 of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Linh Duong campus.
At the same time, the school is allowed to establish a affiliated University Medical Center in area 144, Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi to exploit available resources and facilities of Hanoi National University for training, in-depth research and community service.
This will be a screening and early detection center using the world's most advanced core technology. At the same time, Hanoi National University will maintain and develop it so that it will be a long-term medical examination and treatment hospital and lifelong health care for the people.
From now until 2026, Hanoi National University will focus available resources to develop the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital at Linh Duong campus and Nguyen Quy Duc campus (Thanh Xuan, Hanoi) to ensure training, scientific research and medical examination and treatment at the best possible level.
Hanoi National University will coordinate with the hospital to develop a specific action framework to synchronously develop the system from investment in equipment, machinery, campus, and services.
In addition to providing high-quality medical examination and treatment, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Linh Duong campus, will also be a base for Hanoi National University to pilot smart hospital models, and at the same time, a base to strengthen in-depth research cooperation within the entire university on the application of information technology and AI in medical examination and treatment for people.
