Hanoi University of Civil Engineering has just announced the method of regular university enrollment in 2025.
Accordingly, in 2025, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering will have 4 admission methods, including:
Method 1: Admission using the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam
Admission to all majors and majors. Groups with Fine Arts subject use the Fine Arts exam results of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering or use the results of some other higher education institutions with the converted score to the school's scale for this subject.
Candidates with an international English (French) language certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher (certificates valid as of the admission date) can use it to replace the English (French) subject in the admission combination. Certificates with the "Home Edition" exam format will not be considered.
Method 2: Consider high school academic results (transcript)
Admission to all majors and majors except for majors/majors that have admission to Fine Arts.
Admission is based on the average score of 3 years of high school of the subjects in the corresponding admission group (applicable to both candidates graduating from high school in 2025 and candidates who graduated before 2025);
Candidates with an international English (French) language certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher (certificates valid as of the admission date) can use it to replace the English (French) subject in the admission combination. Certificates with the "Home Edition" exam format will not be considered.
Method 3: Consider the results of exams organized by other higher education institutions
Admission to all majors/specializations except majors/specializations that include admission to Fine Arts.
Group 1: Admission using the results of the Thinking Assessment exam in 2024 and 2025 organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology;
Group 2: Admission using the results of the 2025 Competency Assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University of Education;
Group 3: Admission using the results of the 2025 Computer-Based University Entrance Assessment (V-SAT) organized by universities in collaboration with the National Center for Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.
Method 4: Direct admission and priority admission
*Direct recruitment:
- Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Direct admission according to the school's project:
+ Candidates who are specialized students (3 years of grades 10, 11, 12) of specialized high schools nationwide, national key high schools with an average GPA of 8 or higher in grades 10, 11 and semester 1 of grade 12, graduating from high school in 2025 will be considered for direct admission to the school according to the major/specialization suitable for the specialized subject that the candidate is studying;
+Candidates with an international SAT certificate of 1,200 points or higher or an ACT certificate of 26 points or higher (certificates valid as of the admission date) will be considered for direct admission to the school;
+Students who have completed the university preparatory program are transferred to study at the school.
Candidates wishing to be directly admitted to majors/specializations that include Fine Arts must take the Fine Arts exam organized by the school and achieve a score of 6 or higher.
* Admission priority:
- Priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Priority for admission according to the school's project: Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in excellent student competitions at the provincial and central city levels. The subjects with prizes include: Math (Information Technology), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, English (French), and Geography are given priority for admission according to the major/specialization appropriate to the prize-winning subject; the time of winning the prize must not exceed 3 years from the time of admission.
In 2025, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering plans to recruit a total of 4,700 full-time university students.
