On September 18, Cuu Long University held the opening ceremony of the first level 1 specialized training course (postgraduate) in 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu, Principal of Cuu Long University, congratulated the new students admitted to the school's level 1 specialist training course. “On July 4, Cuu Long University was assigned by the Ministry of Health to train level 1 specialists for 5 majors: nursing, pharmacology and clinical pharmacy, medical technology specializing in testing. The school is continuing to invest in building more facilities for teaching; promoting innovation in teaching and learning methods, focusing on practical training, developing skills, enhancing the positivity, proactiveness and creativity of learners; closely following the training objectives and requirements, contributing to improving the professional quality of students, creating a solid foundation for the following level 1 and level 2 specialist training courses…”, Associate Professor, Dr. Luong Minh Cu added.

The first round of 2024 postgraduate training entrance exam of Cuu Long University has 165 successful candidates. Based on the exam results, the school has awarded 2 candidates with high scores.

The Director of Vinh Long Department of Health said that for the human resource needs of the health sector in the country in general and the health sector of Vinh Long province in particular, postgraduate human resources are a necessary need.
Ms. Ho Thi Thu Hang said that in the period of 2024 - 2029, Vinh Long needs more than 600 human resources trained after university. Of which, nursing and medical technology majors in testing account for a very large number. Therefore, opening level 1 specialized majors of Cuu Long University is very suitable for practical needs. The Director of Vinh Long Department of Health believes that the organization of teaching and learning at the school will achieve good results, contributing to improving the quality of human resource training for the province and the whole country.
