Ton Duc Thang University maintains its top position in Vietnamese education

On March 25, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a conference to highlight advanced models and summarize emulation movements for the 2020-2025 period.

Model university, where the aspiration for a strong Vietnam is spread

In the period of 2020-2025, the patriotic emulation movement was organized extensively and practically by the School, associated with the political and professional tasks of each unit and individual, spreading the spirit of responsibility and aspiration to contribute throughout the school, and the results have achieved many remarkable achievements.

Over the past 5 years, TDTU's educational activities have basically completed the main objectives. The school continues to invest in expanding the scale of its majors; training quality is increasingly improved; the application of technology in training management has clearly changed. Up to now, TDTU is organizing training in 43 majors/specializations at the undergraduate level; 23 majors at the postgraduate level.

The implementation of international accreditation of training programs is implemented in all faculties and is carried out at the school level. To date, the whole school has had 44 training programs accredited and recognized to meet international standards. TDTU has been awarded a certificate of accreditation of educational institutions meeting international standards by the FIBAA Accreditation and Certification Council for a period of 06 years (from March 2024 to March 2030). TDTU continues to maintain high rankings in the world rankings: Top 100 in the world for sustainable development; 95/1023 in interdisciplinary scientific research; Top 200 best young educational institutions in the world; Top 200 best educational institutions in Asia; Top 601-800 best educational institutions globally...

At the conference, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU shared: "We expect TDTU to become a model university, a prestigious and high-quality research university; actively contributing to the cause of education and training of high-quality human resources, promoting the development of science and technology to serve the country's development, and being a place to nurture talents, nurture personality, and spread the aspiration for a strong Vietnam".

“Achievements demonstrate the management capacity, steadfast autonomy and dedication of a collective”

Up to now, TDTU has trained and provided society with 72,762 graduates. The rate of graduates finding jobs within 12 months is 99.4%, with many majors reaching 100%.

In addition, scientific and technological activities continue to receive substantial and sustainable investment. International cooperation and internationalization activities of the school continue to be promoted comprehensively and flexibly, establishing cooperative relationships with many prestigious partners in the region and the world. Accordingly, the school has signed cooperation agreements with 74 large foreign universities and educational institutions, bringing the total number of international partners of TDTU to more than 230 prestigious universities/educational institutions. Joint training and student exchange programs are constantly increasing in both quantity and quality.

Along with that, financial management activities, assets, investment in upgrading facilities; human resource organization… are also regularly concerned. The staff and workers develop both in quantity and quality.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor commented: "TDTU's achievements are not only the result of the emulation movement, but also a testament to the management capacity, steadfast autonomy and dedication of a collective that always strives to work hard, be creative, serve the country and develop people comprehensively".

Summarizing the 2020-2025 period, the School-level Emulation and Reward Council of TDTU proposed specific criteria to consider and commend 5 collectives, 5 typical advanced individuals and 59 individuals with outstanding achievements in the school's emulation movement, and to organize commendation and rewards.

The School's grassroots trade union has launched an emulation movement of the collective of civil servants and employees of Ton Duc Thang University for the period 2025-2030 with 05 major action programs, aiming to arouse collective strength, creativity, and determination to successfully implement the School's plan for the period 2025-2030.
