Quang Nam University organizes traditional New Year activities for Lao students

(QNO) - This morning, April 14, Quang Nam University organized activities to celebrate the traditional New Year Bunpimay 2568 for Lao students studying at the school.

Representatives of leaders of departments, branches, associations and unions of Quang Nam province; specialized departments and faculties, and all Laotian students studying at Quang Nam University attended.

At the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Huynh Trong Duong - President of Quang Nam University sent his congratulations to Lao students on the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation; at the same time, he hoped that the international students would always strive to study and achieve more success in the coming time.

Quang Nam University currently has 176 Lao students studying abroad, including 64 Lao students studying Vietnamese. Every year, the school organizes a Bunpimay festival for Lao students.

This is an opportunity for Lao students to meet and exchange with Vietnamese students; awaken their feelings about the community life and customs of the Lao people, and share the warm and joyful atmosphere on the traditional New Year.
