Dong Thap University awarded graduation certificates for the first batch of 2025 to 149 new graduates

On April 20, Dong Thap University solemnly held a graduation ceremony for the first batch of full-time students and the 2025 non-regular classes for 149 new bachelors.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu - Vice Principal of the school congratulated the new graduates, including 95 new graduates who graduated ahead of schedule (completing the course in 3.5 years). Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu believes that with the basic knowledge, creativity and constant efforts, the new graduates will easily handle and adapt to the job. At work, the new graduates will constantly strive to become good, courageous and dedicated cadres on every working journey of the agency or unit.

New graduates excited at graduation ceremony

Dong Thap University is a public service unit under the Ministry of Education and Training , with a 50-year tradition of training teachers and educational managers, and 22 years of undergraduate and postgraduate training.

Currently, the training quality of the School is rated at 4 stars according to the application orientation. The training program (CTDT) in Mathematics Education is rated at 5 stars according to the UPM quality comparison ranking. In 2025, the School will have 2 more teacher training programs participating in the UPM quality comparison ranking. In particular, in 2024, with outstanding efforts to affirm its position, quality and value, the School was ranked 38th in the national rankings, ranked 2nd out of 8 public universities in the Mekong Delta region, up 34 places in the ranking of 100 universities in Vietnam VNUR (Vietnam's University Rankings).

The result of the efforts is that from February 27, 2025, Dong Thap University was officially approved as one of 14 key universityeducation institutions training teachers nationwide according to Decision No. 452/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on planning the network of university and pedagogical training institutions for the period 2021 to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
