Accordingly, the expected majors to be recruited for training from 2025, at the university level, include: Food quality and safety assurance; Artificial intelligence; Veterinary medicine (high quality); Computer networks and data communications (high quality); Educational psychology; E-commerce and Civil law and civil procedure. The master's level is Philosophy.
In addition, Can Tho University also announced Resolution No. 216 of the University Council on the establishment of the School of Education (under Can Tho University).
This time, Can Tho University announced the decision "Achieving the standards of professor and associate professor in 2024".
Accordingly, 4 more professors and 22 associate professors of Can Tho University were recognized as qualified. Currently, the total number of professors and associate professors of the university is 206 (24 professors and 182 associate professors).
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Council of Can Tho University, has just been honored as an “Outstanding Teacher”. The four people awarded the title of “Excellent Teacher” are Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Dang; Ngo Quang Hieu; Nguyen Thanh Tien and Pham Thanh Vu.
Can Tho University is currently training nearly 110 majors; tuition for the general program is about 19.4-23.5 million VND/year; the high-quality and advanced program has a tuition of 33-36 million VND.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh, Rector, affirmed: “Can Tho University is one of the key higher education institutions of the country in the Mekong Delta, ranked in the 521-540 group in Asia and the 301-350 group in the world for agricultural and aquaculture training.”
