Hanoi Industrial Vocational College received the First Class Labor Medal

(Dan Tri) - Authorized by the President, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung awarded the First Class Labor Medal to Hanoi Industrial Vocational College.

On November 15, Hanoi Industrial Vocational College held the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the school's founding and receiving the First Class Labor Medal from the President.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai congratulated Hanoi Industrial Vocational College on its 50th anniversary and the honor of receiving the First Class Labor Medal.

He advised students to make constant efforts, improve their knowledge and skills to meet the increasing demands in the era of Industry 4.0, thereby contributing to the development of the capital and the country.

"The city expects you to become a highly skilled, creative workforce ready for international integration," Mr. Hai emphasized.

The city is committed to improving facilities, modernizing equipment, and expanding cooperation with domestic and foreign vocational training institutions to improve training quality, meet labor market needs, and provide high-quality human resources for the capital and the whole country.

In her speech celebrating the 50th anniversary of the school's founding, Principal Pham Thi Huong emphasized that, after half a century of construction and development with many challenging historical periods, the school's staff, lecturers and students have remained steadfast.

The teaching staff is always dedicated and strives to meet the requirements of innovation in the education sector. Many teachers have achieved the title of excellent teachers and emulation fighters at all levels, creating a solid foundation for all successes of the school.

During the renovation period, Hanoi Industrial Vocational College continues to affirm its position in the vocational education system, with a team of nearly 180 staff and lecturers, of which more than 80% have master's degrees or higher, have solid expertise, high skills, and are dedicated to their profession and devoted to their students.

In addition, the form of combined training is increasingly expanding, with many programs implemented directly at businesses. Many businesses also support equipment, scholarships and commit to solving employment for students after graduation.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school exceeded its enrollment target with nearly 2,000 students in the 48th course, including nearly 1,500 college students and 500 secondary school students in the 9+ dual degree program. The school's total training capacity reached 4,000 students.

In addition, the school also provides short-term training courses for more than 500 students from companies and businesses across the country. Tens of thousands of alumni of the school currently hold important positions in state management agencies, large corporations and companies...

On this occasion, the Hanoi People's Committee awarded the city's Emulation Flag for the 2023-2024 school year to Hanoi Industrial Vocational College, and awarded the title "Excellent Collective" and Certificates of Merit to many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in teaching and training.
