Vietnam College of Industry and Trade opens the 2024-2025 school year

On the morning of November 10, Vietnam College of Industry and Trade, Dak Lak training facility, held the closing ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year and the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year; celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024).

Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh; Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Le Van Nghia; Deputy Head of the Department of Student Affairs, General Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Ngoc Thang; Chairman of the Board of Directors - Secretary of the Party Cell of Vietnam College of Industry and Trade Le Dai Hung; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors, and a large number of students of the school.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh presented flowers to congratulate the school.

Vietnam College of Industry and Trade currently has 4 training locations in Thai Nguyen, Dak Lak, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The school trains at 3 levels: college; intermediate; elementary and continuing training.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Vietnam College of Industry and Commerce has enrolled nearly 5,000 students; reviewed and recognized graduation for 5,988 students. During the school year, the school promoted international cooperation, completing procedures for 75 students to study abroad and do internships in Korea; 1 student to study vocational training in Australia; 2 students to study abroad in Taiwan; 30 students to study abroad and do internships in Japan.

In addition, the school also promptly implemented student policies and regimes according to regulations, awarded 100% first-year scholarships (5 million VND/scholarship) to 28 students, exempted tuition fees for 8 orphaned students, and gave 10 laptops to students in especially difficult circumstances who achieved high academic achievements...

School leaders awarded scholarships to students who overcame difficulties and achieved high academic results in the 2023-2024 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school will continue to implement solutions to promote and advise on enrollment in training majors and types; improve training quality towards developing the school into a high-quality, internationally-standardized vocational education institution; ensure 100% of graduating students have jobs...

In addition, strengthen cooperation with domestic vocational training institutions and international organizations; promote links and joint ventures with companies and enterprises to train highly skilled workers and create jobs for graduates...

And award Certificates of Merit to students with excellent achievements in the 2023-2024 school year

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kđoh acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements of Vietnam College of Industry and Trade in the 2023-2024 school year. At the same time, he requested the school to continue to closely follow the directives of the Central and local ministries, branches to implement the tasks of the 2024-2025 school year with the highest efficiency, contributing to improving the quality of vocational education, job creation and labor export of the province in the coming time.

On this occasion, Vietnam College of Industry and Trade awarded the title of Excellent Labor Collective to Vietnam College of Industry and Trade, Dak Lak training location; rewarded teachers with achievements in the 2023-2024 school year; rewarded and awarded scholarships to 131 students who overcame difficulties and had high achievements in studying and training in the 2023-2024 school year. A number of units and enterprises have awarded scholarships to the school to support and encourage students before the new school year.
