On November 13, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and directed the Fair-Exhibition within the framework of the event series "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" coordinated by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province from November 11-15.
At the Exhibition, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia once again affirmed the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Since the establishment of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962), the relationship between the two countries has achieved many achievements in all fields and has become a great friendship, special tradition and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The program "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" is solemnly organized with the participation of many Central and local departments, ministries, branches and people of the two countries. It will be an important event, contributing to further enhancing the special and rare traditional relationship.
The photo exhibition at the "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Festival 2023" brings together a total of 200 photos divided into four themes: History of 61 years of Vietnam-Laos special friendship; Vietnam and Laos on the path of development; Outstanding achievements in Vietnam-Laos cooperation in the field of information and communication; Thua Thien Hue accompanies the country's development.

The Fair-Exhibition "Vietnam-Laos Special Friendship Day 2023" has nearly 60 booths, organized with the highlight being booths of information publications and media programs in Lao language of Vietnam News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Voice of Vietnam Radio , and Vietnam.vn National External Information Portal.
In addition, there is also the support of information technology and telecommunications enterprises such as Viettel Global, VNPT, VTC; enterprises operating in the fields of tourism, trade... with typical OCOP products of Hue and the provinces and cities of the Central region.
Accordingly, the program is organized with a series of meaningful events, demonstrating the close friendship between the people of the two countries, including a photo exhibition, a Fair-Exhibition, a scientific seminar and cultural and artistic exchange activities between Vietnam and Laos.
