Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Viet Oanh congratulated Vietnamese Teachers' Day at Luc Ngan High School No. 1

On the morning of November 17, Luc Ngan High School No. 1, Luc Ngan District (Bac Giang) held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 (1982 - 2024) and the 60th anniversary of the school's founding (1964-2024). Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department attended and congratulated the school.

Also attending were leaders of the Department of Education and Training, departments, branches and sectors of the province; Luc Ngan district and many generations of staff, teachers and students of the school.

Luc Ngan High School No. 1 was established on November 23, 1964, formerly known as Luc Ngan Secondary and High School. On September 23, 1965, Luc Ngan High School was established under Decision No. 1852/TCHC of the Ha Bac Provincial Administrative Committee. At that time, the school only had 2 classes, with 105 students from 3 mountainous districts of Ha Bac province: Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Son Dong.

In 60 years of striving, building and developing, teachers and students of Luc Ngan High School No. 1 are proud to have made many great and important contributions to the education and training career of the province. Generations of cadres, teachers and students of the school have continued to write the tradition of studiousness, good study, patriotism and revolution, training generations of students to become good citizens, good soldiers, good cadres, making important contributions to the cause of protecting and building the homeland.

Currently, Luc Ngan High School No. 1 has 7 interconnected 3-storey buildings with enough solid, modern classrooms, meeting the teaching and learning requirements of the 2018 general education program. The facilities meet the educational scale of the school with 45 classrooms, with a total of 2,000 students in a school year.

The school's staff, teachers and employees are increasingly improving their professional skills; the quality of key education and comprehensive education is increasingly improving. The school has 52 teachers who are excellent at the provincial level, 1 excellent teacher, 4 teachers who were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, and 15 teachers who were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Minister of Education and Training.

The rate of students passing the entrance exams to universities and colleges is often among the top in the province. Students actively participate in provincial and national competitions and achieve many achievements and awards, especially 3 students won the National Gold Medal, 05 students won the Bronze Medal in Internet Mathematics and won many awards in provincial cultural, sports and science competitions.

The school's contributions have been recognized by the Party and the State and awarded many noble prizes, especially Luc Ngan High School No. 1 was honored to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal (2004), Second Class Labor Medal (2009) by the State and was recognized as a National Standard School in 2007.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department sent his best wishes to generations of cadres, teachers, staff and students of Luc Ngan High School No. 1 through the years. At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the comprehensive results that the school has achieved over the past 60 years.

To continue promoting the school's glorious tradition and successfully completing assigned tasks in the coming years, he suggested that Luc Ngan High School No. 1 continue to innovate management methods, teaching methods, improve teaching and learning quality, and combine learning with practice to meet the requirements of educational innovation.

Along with improving the quality of cultural education, schools need to pay special attention to moral education, lifestyle and career guidance for students, helping each student after leaving school to have cultural knowledge, have the right ideals, have a scientific working style and good health, quickly access and master advanced and modern science and technology.

Regularly pay attention to building discipline and order in schools, building a clean and healthy educational environment. Continue to train and develop staff and teachers, build a team of teachers with sufficient quantity, reasonable structure, good professional capacity, and dedication to the profession. Each teacher must truly be a shining example for students to follow.

Promote the socialization of education, mobilize many social resources for management, study, and career guidance for students; attach importance to investment in facilities, exploit and effectively use equipment serving teaching and learning.

Regularly pay attention to doing a good job of building the Party and mass organizations to ensure comprehensive purity and strength. The school Party cell needs to demonstrate its leadership role well, each Party member must be exemplary, excellently completing the assigned tasks in their positions.

On this occasion, 1 collective and 6 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Education Trade Union for their outstanding achievements in the process of building and developing the school; 5 individuals were awarded the title of Provincial Emulation Fighter and Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 6 individuals were awarded the title of Grassroots Emulation Fighter; 14 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Education Trade Union; 9 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Luc Ngan District People's Committee.
