Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department visits and presents gifts to veterans taking over the capital

In Me Tri ward, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Quang Duc visited and presented gifts to veteran Nguyen Huy Ho in residential group No. 1. Mr. Nguyen Huy Ho (born in 1930) was a former soldier of Company 267, Battalion 54, Regiment 102, Division 308, who directly participated in the liberation of the capital.

In Phuong Canh ward, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Quang Duc visited and presented gifts to veteran Nguyen Van Ton (born in 1929), a former officer of Company 267, Battalion 54, Regiment 102, Division 308, who directly participated in the liberation of the capital.

At the families, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Quang Duc kindly asked about the health, life and years of participation in the resistance war of the veterans. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude for their great contributions and contributions in the resistance war against the French colonialists, contributing with our army and people to the Dien Bien Phu Victory; then directly participating in the liberation of the Capital. They were living witnesses to the event of taking over and liberating the Capital 70 years ago.
