Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission surveys key projects in Quang Binh

On the morning of July 3, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission Bui Thi Minh Hoai led a working delegation to visit and work in Quang Binh.

At the B&T Wind Power Farm Cluster, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai listened to the factory representative report on the production and business activities, the contribution of the B&T Wind Power Plant and the effectiveness of the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" model in socio-economic development in the districts of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy.

With a capacity of 252 MW, the project spans 9 communes in 2 districts of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy. After completion and operation in November 2021, the project will contribute an average of over 100 billion VND to the budget each year, ensuring 60% of electricity supply for the province, reducing emissions by 600,000 tons of CO₂/year. The project has also performed well in social security work with a total value of over 5 billion VND from 2020 to present, recognized by the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and selected as a "Smart Mass Mobilization" model in the province's socio-economic development. Currently, the enterprise is researching and expanding offshore wind power investment activities in Quang Binh and wind power in Savannakhet province, Laos.

Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission Bui Thi Minh Hoai also inspected the construction progress of the Coastal Road and Nhat Le 3 Bridge projects. Component project 1 - Coastal Road is 85.8 km long, Component project 2 - Nhat Le 3 Bridge is more than 2.8 km long (Nhat Le 3 Bridge is 561.4 m long); total investment is 3,500 billion VND, of which the central budget is 2,700 billion VND, local budget is 800 billion VND; implementation period is from 2021 - 2026.

Through the field inspection, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai praised the efforts of the province and enterprises in investing in construction of works and projects. Ms. Hoai highly appreciated the important contributions of the B&T Wind Farm Cluster in providing clean energy sources, contributing to the country's roadmap to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, especially the social security activities and positive effects from the "Smart Mass Mobilization" model that the enterprise is implementing. Giving gifts to cadres and workers constructing the Coastal Road and Nhat Le 3 Bridge project, the Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission affirmed the importance and right direction of Quang Binh in project investment.
