Recently, supermodel Xuan Lan announced the project The New Generation of models - Generations of Vietnamese models in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of many generations of models.

Unlike Xuan Lan's previous fashion shows, this project is more professional and international, the shows are held at famous scenic spots around the world. The first destination of The New Generation of models is Nami Island and the capital city of Seoul, Korea.

"The project does not only take place over a year but also over a whole journey. And this is not a project for commercial purposes, it aims to help generations of models have the opportunity to assert themselves, honoring professional models who work hard but are rarely recognized," Xuan Lan shared.

It is known that the show in Korea in early 2024 will have the participation of 30 professional models, special guests and foreign models. A total of 60 custom-designed costumes will be presented in the show in Korea.

The special thing is that the show in Korea will have no audience, the crew will focus entirely on capturing beautiful moments, fashion, and valuable footage of the meaningful journey of the models.

Not only changing the scale of the project, supermodel Xuan Lan also revealed that with the ambition to recreate and change the future generation of models with her students, she has proposed two new training criteria: high fashion spirit and international professionalism.

Elaborating on this change, Xuan Lan pointed out that not only professional models, child models can also learn the spirit of high fashion. Professionalism here is about charisma, performance style, skills in front of the camera and child models now also have to understand clearly and perform well.

Faced with concerns that professionalism could "destroy" the model's innocence and naturalness, Xuan Lan responded:

“The professionalism of child models does not destroy their inherent innocence and naturalness. Because we will train them in terms of charisma through their eyes, gestures and facial expressions, without interfering with their inherent personality, habits or nature, to turn them into “adults”.

Our motto is to guide child models in the most professional, minimalist, and simple style. A professional child model is someone who enhances and embellishes the clothes she presents, so showing off her body will never happen."

In addition, the female model also emphasized that she and her team always uphold the principle that child models will not wear heavy makeup, will not wear clothes that are beyond their age, will not pose indecently, and will not act like adults.
