Dinh Lap Medical Center is a class II hospital with 80 beds, a total of 73 officers, civil servants and employees working in 3 functional rooms, 5 clinical and paraclinical departments.
In order to better meet the increasing health care needs of the people, the center has focused on training and developing human resources. Many doctors and medical staff have been sent for advanced training at upper-level hospitals. From 2024 to present, the unit has sent staff to attend professional training courses and continuous training such as: 2 officials attended a training course to improve professional skills in emergency resuscitation techniques, 1 official attended a training course to improve nursing management skills; 4 doctors studied specialist I... Along with that, Dinh Lap Medical Center pays special attention to administrative procedure reform, innovation in style and service attitude of medical staff. Medical examination and treatment processes are reviewed, shortening waiting time for patients. Staff at the reception department, guiding patients in professional and thoughtful activities; the communication and behavior of medical staff are always imbued with the spirit of "understanding and sharing".
Dr. Hoang Thi Kien, Head of the Examination Department, said: The Examination Department has 7 doctors and nurses, receiving and examining an average of 60 to 70 patients per day. Despite the pressure of work, each medical staff member constantly strives to improve their expertise and service attitude so that people can feel secure and confident, with the patient satisfaction rate always reaching over 90%.
Not only the Examination Department, other departments and specialized rooms such as: General Surgery Department, Pediatrics Department - Reproductive and Obstetric Health Care, Emergency Department - Internal Medicine - Infectious Diseases - Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Department are also constantly improving the quality of treatment. In particular, the Pharmacy - Equipment - Testing - Diagnostic Imaging - Infection Control Department always ensures adequate medicines, medical supplies and effectively operates equipment serving diagnosis and treatment.
Ms. Tran Thi Dam, Zone 2, Dinh Lap Town, Dinh Lap District, said: In March 2025, I had a stomachache so I was admitted to the emergency room at midnight. The doctor examined me and diagnosed me with stomach syndrome. Although they had to work at night, the doctors and nurses at the district hospital were always dedicated and attentive.
Thanks to its continuous efforts, the center has attracted more and more patients for examination and treatment. In 2024, the unit received 22,978 visits, an increase of 9.5% compared to 2023. This is an impressive number for a district-level medical unit. A highlight is that the overall satisfaction rate of patients at the center in 2024 reached 100%, the highest in the entire district-level medical sector (the provincial average is 93%).
