"It takes a bit of waiting, but I find it less difficult than having to leave the city these days. The traffic is so congested," said Minh Chau (in Chuong My, Hanoi).
The outside of Lac Long Quan Street became a rare traffic jam in Hanoi today due to the sudden increase in the number of people flocking to this commercial center. Police forces were also mobilized to regulate traffic and limit the situation of vehicles stopping for too long to pick up and drop off passengers, causing congestion.

Pham Quoc Nghia (in Long Bien, Hanoi) said that this year's holiday he chose to stay in the city and go shopping to cook at home.
"Plane tickets are expensive, so my family won't be traveling this year. Staying home, shopping, and gathering is more fun and practical," Nghia said.
