DNVN - On October 11, China successfully recovered Practice-19, the country's first experimental satellite capable of reuse and recovery.
According to the China National Space Administration (CNSA), the satellite Shijian-19 landed safely at Dongfeng Point in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The recovery process was also carried out smoothly, including the payloads that the satellite carried.
The JXJ-19 was launched on September 27 from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, marking several important technological breakthroughs. The flight tests successfully completed the technical criteria and achieved all expected results.
With its ability to maintain high microgravity and rapid response, Practice-19 has become an ideal space testing platform for microscience and life science research. Researchers have conducted space breeding experiments, verified new technologies, and performed many other scientific experiments, contributing to the development and application of advanced space technologies.
In addition, Practice-19 also carries payloads from five countries, opening up great opportunities for international cooperation in the field of space exploration and exploitation.
