China successfully launched the CERES-1 Y8 rocket

At 12:59 p.m. on August 25 (Beijing time), at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China, Galaxy Power Aerospace Corporation successfully launched the CERES-1 Y8 rocket carrying the Jilin-1 Kuanfu 02A satellite into its planned orbit.

The Jilin-1 Kuanfu 02A satellite was researched and developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd.

After its successful launch, the satellite will continue to promote the process of integrating the Jilin-1 satellite network, expanding the scope of Jilin-1's information resource collection with high-resolution sensors and wide transmission range, thereby providing increasingly rich data sources, useful for land resource investigation, smart city construction and agricultural and forestry exploitation.

It is known that the Coc Than Tinh-1 rocket is a small commercial rocket using solid fuel, which can meet the needs of launching microsatellites into low Earth orbit.

This is the 8th consecutive successful launch of the Coc Than Tinh-1 commercial rocket, the 4th consecutive successful launch this year and the 3rd launch within 35 days.

Currently, Coc Than Tinh-1 has entered the in-depth research stage, and is preparing for its ninth land launch and its first sea launch. Galaxy Power Aerospace Corporation said that in the future, the corporation will play a greater role in the development of China's space science and low-cost satellite technology.
