China also added 10 US entities to its unreliable entity list, citing their arms sales to Taiwan. A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said the agency’s moves were aimed at safeguarding national security and interests, and fulfilling its nuclear non-proliferation and other international obligations.

China - US continue to have trade confrontation moves
According to The New York Times , Beijing is taking a tough stance on Washington in preparation for the return of US President-elect Donald Trump to the White House. During his first term, Mr. Trump imposed tariffs and trade restrictions on China. US President Joe Biden's term also imposed a ban on dual-use exports targeting 140 Chinese companies. On January 2, the US Department of Commerce said it would consider imposing restrictions on Chinese unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
A spokesperson for China's Ministry of Commerce added that the 10 entities were placed on the unreliable list for engaging in arms sales to Taiwan, which seriously undermined China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and stressed that other foreign entities that operate in good faith and respect the law have nothing to worry about.
