Exhibition "From Paris Agreement to Great Victory of Spring 1975"

On April 24, the War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City opened the thematic exhibition "From the Paris Agreement to the Great Victory of Spring 1975".

This is an event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

With 140 artifacts, images, and documents, the thematic exhibition "From the Paris Agreement to the Great Victory of Spring 1975" focuses on introducing the nation's arduous but heroic journey from the implementation of the Paris Agreement in 1973 to the Great Victory of Spring 1975.

After the opening ceremony, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and delegates visited the museum.

The topic includes 3 main parts: "Paris Agreement on ending the war", "Restoring peace in Vietnam and the great victory of Spring 1975" and "Peace".

The exhibition aims to give the public a realistic and vivid view of the resilient struggle of the Vietnamese army and people on the diplomatic, political and military fronts. The exhibition depicts the happiness of the entire people when the South was liberated, the country was reunited, and the people lived in peace.

In addition to images, documents, and exhibits, the public will experience a model of tank number 390 that crashed through the gate of the Independence Palace, marking an important historical milestone, liberating the South and unifying the country of the Vietnamese army and people on the historic day of April 30, 1975.

A representative of the War Remnants Museum said that, in addition to the content recreating the resistance period, the exhibition also introduces to the public the 50-year journey of Ho Chi Minh City (1975 - 2025). Today, the city has made important strides on the path of innovation, development and integration, worthy of the honor of being named after President Ho Chi Minh, a civilized, modern, affectionate, dynamic and creative city.
