With 150 photos, diagrams, excerpts, documents, the topic "From Dien Bien Phu victory to the great victory of Spring 1975" is divided into 3 parts. Part 1 has the theme "Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954" with images and stories about the Dien Bien Phu victory on May 7, 1954, ending the 9-year long resistance war against France. Part 2 is about the Great Victory of Spring 1975 with the peak of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, which is the inheritance and strong promotion of the spirit of Dien Bien Phu victory. Part 3 has the content "Economic development potential of Ho Chi Minh City and Dien Bien province".
The exhibition also has a special theme “The image of President Ho Chi Minh through the language of sculpture” introducing to the public 10 portraits of President Ho Chi Minh from 1911 to 1965. The works were created by sculptors: Nguyen Xuan Tien, Tran Thanh Nam, Pham Dinh Tien, Le Lang Bien, Tran Viet Ha, ... about Uncle Ho.
Free screening of revolutionary films to celebrate 50 years of national reunification
The Vietnam Film Institute has just announced that the Vietnamese Film Days program will be held from April 21 to 26, with screenings at 9am every day.
Specifically, from April 21 to 24, audiences will enjoy the documentary "Spring Victory" (4 episodes) and the feature film "Saigon Special Forces" (4 episodes).

The documentary “Some images of the liberation of Saigon” and the feature film “The Wild Field” were screened on April 25. On April 26, the feature film “Liberation of Saigon” was screened. Notably, on this occasion, there were two films “Saigon Special Forces” and “Liberation of Saigon”, both directed by Long Van. These are films that bear the mark of Vietnamese cinema, about the resistance war against the US to save the country, about the victory of our army and people, and the contributions and sacrifices of the soldiers.
The feature film “The Wild Fields” directed by Nguyen Hong Sen, written by writer Nguyen Quang Sang and composed by musician Trinh Cong Son, won many prestigious awards such as the Golden Lotus at the Vietnam Film Festival in 1980 and the Gold Medal at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1981. “The Wild Fields” not only recreates the fierce years of resistance, but also vividly depicts the simple but resilient life of the Vietnamese people.
