On the morning of January 31, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Imprints of the subsidy period of the people of Ha Nam" and recreated the cultural space of the old rural market on Tet holiday with cultural experience activities and traditional folk games.

This is one of a series of typical activities in the series of cultural, sports, and tourism events celebrating the Party, celebrating spring, celebrating the country and the innovative homeland of the Ha Nam culture, sports, and tourism sector in 2024.

The exhibition "Imprints of the subsidy period of the people of Ha Nam" aims to help everyone, especially the young people - the generation born and raised after the country implemented the renovation policy, to have the opportunity to better understand the hardships, difficulties, and deprivations in the lives of each person and each family that their fathers and brothers had experienced.

Through the exhibits, children will appreciate more the values, results, and great achievements of the renovation process led by the Communist Party of Vietnam; strive to work, study, practice, and join hands to contribute to building the country and homeland to become increasingly rich, civilized, and to exchange and integrate with friends in the region and the world.

The exhibition "Imprints of the subsidy period of the people of Ha Nam" is arranged according to the installation method, using nearly 300 original artifacts and supporting scientific documents to recreate the living space of individuals and families during the subsidy period from 1976 to 1986 with spaces: living room, bedroom, kitchen, trading store, agricultural cooperative, space of the store renting stories, books, newspapers and outdoor display space with farming tools, fishing tools... to recreate the social life of the people of Ha Nam in an important historical period.
