A helicopter carrying three crew members and 19 passengers is believed to have gone missing in the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East, the Russian Air Transport Agency reported. Rescuers are still searching for the missing helicopter.

The Mi-8 is a twin-engine helicopter designed in the 1960s. It is widely used in Russia as well as in neighboring and many other countries.
