Containers and trucks will be banned at noon on June 27 to organize high school graduation exams

On June 26, the Department of Transport of Da Nang City said that to ensure safety for the 2023 high school graduation exam, the unit has proposed a plan to temporarily suspend the operation of a number of trucks during the exam days.

The Department of Transport of Da Nang City has announced the temporary suspension of operations for cars pulling trailers, semi-trailers, and dump trucks on all routes in the city.

The above vehicles are only allowed to operate on certain routes such as: Hai Van - Tuy Loan Tunnel, La Son - Tuy Loan, Hai Van Pass Road, Ta Quang Buu, Nguyen Van Cu (section from Ta Quang Buu Street to Hai Van Pass Road), National Highway 14B (section from the border of Quang Nam province to Hoa Cam overpass), Hoa Cam overpass (including 2 access roads on both sides of the bridge), National Highway 1 from Hoa Cam overpass to the border of Quang Nam province, Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway.

The specific suspension time of the above vehicles on June 27 is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. On June 28 and 29, the suspension time is from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

For the backup exam day (June 30), the city plans to temporarily suspend the operation of the above types of vehicles from 6:00 to 7:30 and from 9:30 to 12:00, only when notified.

The Department of Transport requested the Da Nang City Police to take the lead in implementing a plan to ensure traffic safety during the exam; requested the Department of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Hoa Vang District to notify parents and students of Ong Ich Khiem High School (Hoa Vang District) to have a plan to move to the exam site through the underpass in front of An Phuoc Primary School (Hoa Phong Commune), limiting traffic on National Highway 14B.

According to the 2023 high school graduation exam schedule, tomorrow, June 27, candidates will be present at the exam site to complete exam registration procedures, listen to the regulations and correct any incorrect information (if any).

On June 28-29, candidates will take 4 exams: literature, math, combined exam, foreign language. The morning of June 30 is the backup exam.

The 2023 high school graduation exam in Da Nang City has 13,176 candidates registered to take the exam. Of which, 49 candidates took the exam only for graduation recognition; 447 candidates took the exam only for college and university admission; and 12,680 candidates took the exam both for graduation recognition and college and university admission.
