Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen's family in Chinh Tien village, Gia Phu commune, Bao Thang district grows 4,000 square meters of cassava. During the harvest season, Ms. Tuyen's family rents an excavator to help dig up cassava tubers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen shared: This year's cassava crop has big tubers, no pests or diseases, good harvest, good price, so I'm very excited. My family alone harvested more than 10 tons of cassava tubers. After harvesting, my family will process them into starch to cooperate with Manh Huong medicinal agricultural products cooperative to sell to the market.
"If the tubers are sold in the garden, the price is about 12,000 VND/kg. After being processed into powder, the price will be higher. With more than 10 tons of tubers, nearly 2 tons of powder can be processed. Thus, with a price of 200,000 VND/kg of powder, the revenue will be about 200 million VND," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

This year's crop yield reached 90 tons of fresh tubers. The entire cassava tubers output has been purchased by Manh Huong Medicinal Agricultural Products Cooperative to process into starch for sale on the market.
