Trong Hoang in the match against the Australian team in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers
Considered the best right winger of the Vietnamese national team during the golden period under Mr. Park, midfielder Nguyen Trong Hoang has just left SLNA Club.
It is known that in V-League 2023 - 2024, SLNA team advocates promoting rejuvenation, opening the door for older players to leave to find new destinations, creating space for new blood to be promoted from the youth training center to have the opportunity to try their hand.
In that situation, midfielder Nguyen Trong Hoang decided to say goodbye, when his contract with the "hometown" team only had a few months left to end.
Trong Hoang is always a talented and exemplary role model at SLNA.
Also, Trong Hoang played 17/18 matches with a total of 1,355 minutes for SLNA Club in V-League 2023. However, this season he has only played once for SLNA Club in V-League and once in the National Cup due to injury.
After a period of rehabilitation training at the RTD Rehap Center of Vietnam team doctor Tran Huy Tho, Hoang "cow" is confident that he is ready to return, in a new environment.
At the age of 34, Trong Hoang refused offers from several clubs, including a big club in the North, to join the rather surprising Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club.
Trong Hoang will wear the Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club shirt from round 11 of V-League 2023-2024
Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club is having a difficult season, temporarily ranked 12th with only 6 points (equal to Khanh Hoa Club), only 1 point more than the bottom team HAGL.
However, Trong Hoang chose Ha Tinh Club because it is close to home so he can take care of his wife and children. In addition, he also expressed his desire to work with coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, to prove that he can still play well at V-League level.
It is expected that Trong Hoang will present himself to coach Nguyen Thanh Cong and Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club early next week, before signing a contract that expires at the end of the 2023-2024 V-League, with the spirit of being ready to extend based on performance.
