Thanks to good soil and understanding of planting techniques, the canarium garden grows quickly and produces a lot of fruit.
Although the eggplant garden has been flooded for more than a month, it is still growing well.
When the Thai star apple tree starts to flower and set pistil, Uncle Nam will spray medicine and leave the fruit, waiting for it to ripen before picking, not picking it early.
On average, from a large star apple tree, Uncle Nam harvests from 70 - 150kg of fruit, and from small trees, he harvests 30kg/tree.

The ripe star apples are washed and dried by hand in the sun by Mr. Phan Van Nam's family, a farmer in Long Thang commune, Lai Vung district, Dong Thap province, to prepare for processing into dishes.
