Traditional ethnic costumes performance

The contest had 20 teams, with more than 200 contestants from schools in Meo Vac district. The contestants were ethnic minorities H'Mong, Dao, Lo Lo, Xuong, Giay.

The teams participated in 2 categories: National costume performance on music, presentation, introduction of the performance costume; talent competition, each team performed 1 self-selected act (singing, dancing, playing flute, playing trumpet) with national identity.

The teams will participate in two competitions, costume show and talent competition.

Comrade Ngo Manh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Meo Vac district, said that the organization of the ethnic costume performance contest aims to preserve, promote and honor the traditional cultural identity of ethnic groups. Thereby, arousing national pride, awareness of preserving heritage, promoting positivity, self-reliance and self-reliance of ethnic minorities.

The contest contributes to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups in Meo Vac district.

The contest will be an opportunity for ethnic people in the area to exchange, learn and share experiences in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. Strengthen solidarity, cohesion, and join hands to build and develop a healthy and progressive grassroots cultural life.

Besides, the contest is also an opportunity to promote the diverse culture of ethnic groups in Meo Vac district to tourists.
