According to initial information, from the camera image of the truck, the incident occurred at about 9:23 am on June 22 at Km 216 of Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway (direction Lao Cai - Hanoi).
At that time, the passenger bus with Lao Cai province license plate continuously crossed into the opposite lane, swerved, and cut in front of the truck to overtake it. The section of the highway the passenger bus was overtaking had two lanes, with solid lines, prohibiting overtaking.

After passing the truck, the passenger bus stopped across the road, blocking almost the entire highway lane. Then, three men got out of the bus, one of them holding a stick about 1 meter long.
The man holding the stick then climbed into the truck cabin and assaulted the driver, even though he had backed into the truck, but was continuously pulled out and beaten.
Through professional measures and initial verification by the authorities, the incident occurred at around 9:23 a.m. on June 22 at Km 216 on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway. At that time, a passenger car with license plate 24B-009.19 blocked a truck with license plate 24C-051.65 traveling from Lao Cai to Hanoi.
Currently, the authorities are continuing to verify and handle the case in accordance with the law.
