BTO-With the theme: "Binh Thuan - 50 years of construction, innovation and development", the photo exhibition, combined with the display and introduction of commercial and tourism products, officially opened this morning, April 17, at the Provincial Cultural and Artistic Theater and Exhibition (Phan Thiet City).
This activity was co-organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to review the tradition of steadfast revolutionary struggle of the army and people of Binh Thuan during the resistance war against colonialism and imperialism. Thereby educating and fostering national pride as well as widely introducing outstanding achievements in the fields of economics, politics , culture - society, national defense - security, Party building, building the political system in 50 years of building and developing the province...
On that basis, encourage all classes of people to continue promoting the cause of industrialization and modernization of Binh Thuan homeland and launch an emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate important political events in 2025. Besides, it also creates an exciting atmosphere from the grassroots to the provincial level, further tightening the great national unity bloc, firmly pursuing the goal of national independence associated with socialism in the period of innovation, integration and development.
In his opening speech, Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan said that this exhibition has 2 spaces with more than 300 documentary photos. In which, "Space 1: Brilliant milestone of Liberation Day - Heroic history of Binh Thuan" displays and exhibits documentary photos of the army and people of Binh Thuan and Binh Tuy completely liberating their homeland, contributing with the army and people of the whole country to establish the miracle of the Great Spring Victory in 1975, completely liberating the South, unifying the country. Or displaying and exhibiting documentary photos of the army and people of Thuan Hai (from February 1977 to April 1992) reclaiming land, focusing on cotton cultivation, building a number of new economic zones and settlements, converting crop structures in Duc Linh, Tanh Linh (such as rubber, pepper, cashew) ...
For “Space 2: Binh Thuan - Journey to build a dynamic, fast and sustainable Binh Thuan homeland towards the future”, the focus is on displaying and exhibiting documentary images on restructuring the agricultural sector and building the local image. Along with that is the development of irrigation works serving multiple purposes, exploiting the potential of renewable energy associated with environmental protection, investing in the transportation system, education - health - culture, security - defense, Party building... At the same time, it is also associated with introducing resources, potentials, and orientations for socio-economic development in the coming time, especially developing 3 pillars: Industry - Tourism, services - Agriculture applying modern technology.
In the area outside the Provincial Cultural and Artistic Theater and Exhibition, the Organizing Committee focused on introducing the production and business results of local enterprises. Also participating were 20 enterprises participating in designing display booths, introducing a variety of typical products, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products and local tourism services...
It is known that the Photo Exhibition, combined with the display and introduction of commercial and tourism products, will take place from today (April 17) until April 24, 2025. This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) associated with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan homeland (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025).
