Implementing the plan to organize the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army

At the conference, delegates from departments, branches, localities and members of the Organizing Committee for major holidays of the province gave their opinions on the preparation and organization of activities in the celebration, focusing on propaganda and celebration work; the contents of the ceremony to visit the provincial martyrs' cemetery and the anniversary meeting; activities to pay tribute, visit and present gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Labor Heroes, families of Armed Forces Heroes and commendation work at the ceremony. According to the plan, the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024) will take place on December 18, 2024 at the Provincial People's Committee hall.

Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies to continue reviewing and promptly completing the contents of the proposed celebration plan according to the motto "clear people, clear work". He requested the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with departments, branches and sectors to urge the implementation of assigned tasks; pay attention to each visual propaganda content and on mass media; the content of documentaries and speeches in the celebration must be commented on and assessed according to regulations to ensure that the celebration takes place solemnly, practically, effectively, safely and economically. Thereby, contributing to promoting propaganda and education on the glorious tradition and heroic feats of the heroic Vietnam People's Army in the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; honoring the generations who have dedicated their lives to the glory of the nation, for the independence and freedom of the country; At the same time, educate patriotism and revolutionary traditions for the younger generation to continue the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
