Accordingly, the Traffic Police Department is the core force, together with professional departments and commune-level police, to coordinate in synchronously implementing measures to prevent, stop, and strictly handle violations of the law on road traffic routes.

The forces focused on basic investigation, reviewing routes with frequent accidents, "black spots" and potential traffic accident spots, areas with many restaurants, eateries, tourist attractions, entertainment venues, industrial parks, industrial clusters, cargo gathering points, warehouses, schools, etc. to synthesize and deploy plans suitable to reality.

Alcohol concentration violations are focused on inspection and strict handling.

The authorities will mobilize 100% of restaurants, eateries, businesses, enterprises, and vehicle owners to sign a commitment and promote the slogan "If you drink alcohol, do not drive".

Young people who gather, disturb public order, speed, weave, chase each other on the road, race illegally, etc. are monitored and listed for propaganda, education, deterrence, and handling according to the law.

“In addition to coordinating with professional departments and commune-level police, we use many professional measures, ambushes, disguises, secret collaborators, focusing on violations of alcohol concentration, driving over the speed limit, driving in the wrong direction, and student violations... Regarding the topic of alcohol concentration, the unit has stepped up propaganda; used cameras and ambush teams, arranged public teams, and when violations are detected, they will be stopped and handled. Feedback from people and images of violations detected through cameras of households will also be captured, compiled and strictly handled. Working groups are arranged along the entire route to strictly control the situation, contributing to the successful implementation of the peak period of ensuring road traffic safety from April 1 to May 14, 2025,” said Lieutenant Colonel Truong Chi Dung, Captain of the Road Traffic Patrol and Control Team of the Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police.
