Specifically, 8 checkpoints are on duty at the following bridges: Phu Luong, Binh, An Thai, Hop Thanh, Cay, Di Linh, Van, and Day. The checkpoints aim to ensure the safety of bridge construction and traffic safety, and prevent flooding after storms.

The checkpoints include the Traffic Police and Traffic Inspectors who coordinate to control vehicles crossing the bridge to ensure the bridge's operating capacity and the traffic distance between vehicles; strictly handle violations. In case of flood and strong currents, traffic will be stopped at the river crossings, measures will be taken to set up traffic checkpoints, and road management agencies will be on duty to guard and regulate traffic through alternative routes.
