In the context of the flourishing running movement in Vietnam, the Run To Live race was born with a methodical and professional organization, attractive prizes and noble purpose, promising to be an interesting playground for the running community in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.

Waiting for someone to break Nguyen Thi Oanh's 21km record at the Run To Live race

Today, according to information from the Organizing Committee, Run To Live 2024 will take place on March 8, 9 and 10, 2024 on Tran Bach Dang Street (Thu Duc City). The tournament is expected to attract the participation of 6,000 amateur and professional athletes from across the country, competing in distances of 5 km, 10 km and 21 km (half marathon). After a short time of opening the registration gate, the tournament attracted more than 3,000 registrants and promises to increase in the coming days.

For the tournament to be successful, the Organizing Committee has promptly implemented preparations at all stages, including ensuring safety for the racetrack, medical care, traffic flow, professional management, etc., receiving coordination and support from departments and agencies of Ho Chi Minh City as well as Thu Duc City.

The Run To Live race also demonstrates its responsibility to the community by contributing to the fund to support the program "Lighting up the faith - Overcoming difficulties to go to school" of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, supporting disabled athletes of Ho Chi Minh City, projects - funds for the community of the Vietnam Volunteer Resource Information Center under the Central Youth Union.

Run To Live race promises to be exciting

In addition to the main awards, the Organizing Committee also awarded 2 special prizes, each worth 100 million VND, to 1 male and 1 female athlete who broke the national record in the half marathon distance (21 km). Currently, Do Quoc Luat holds the 21 km record for men with a time of 1 hour 07 minutes 39 seconds and Nguyen Thi Oanh holds the 21 km record for women with a time of 1 hour 15 minutes 24 seconds.
