Over 160,000 candidates have tried to register for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

The Ministry of Education and Training said that out of 160,435 candidates who have tried to register, the number of 12th grade candidates studying the 2018 GeneralEducation Program is 156,254, accounting for 97.39%. The number of independent candidates is 4,181, accounting for 2.61%.

In the group of independent candidates, the number of candidates registered under the 2018 General Education Program is 3,472, accounting for 2.1%; the number of candidates registered under the 2006 General Education Program is 709, accounting for 0.44%.

According to regulations, candidates will try to register for the exam online on the Ministry of Education and Training's Exam Management System until April 18. The trial opening of online exam registration is to help candidates get acquainted and practice before officially registering for the exam.

From April 21 to 5:00 p.m. on April 28, candidates can officially register for the exam and graduation recognition online.

The 2025 high school graduation exam is scheduled to take place from June 25 to 28. The Ministry of Education and Training has announced a detailed exam schedule for candidates taking the exam according to the 2006 General Education Program as well as candidates taking the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program.

It is expected that at 8:00 a.m. on July 16, the Departments of Education and Training will announce the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. By July 18 at the latest, high schools will consider recognizing high school graduation for students.
